How it works

  1. 1

    Pick a background

Upload a photo, or start from a built-in gradient. Your image is processed in your browser and never uploaded.

  2. 2

    Write the post

Set the display name, username, profile picture and badge, then type your text. Hashtags, mentions and links are highlighted automatically.

  3. 3

    Place the card

Drag the card where you want it. One width slider scales the text, profile image and spacing together so it always stays in proportion.

  4. 4

    Download

Export a sharp PNG, JPG or WebP at 1080×1350, 1080×1920, 1080×1080 or 1280×720 — exactly what you saw in the preview.

What the tool does well

Pixel-accurate export

The preview and the download come from the same renderer, so what you see is literally what you get.

Nothing leaves your browser

Backgrounds, profile pictures and embedded media are processed locally. No uploads, no accounts required.

Text that never disappears

Long posts grow the card, then scale the type, and warn you clearly if it still will not fit.

Eight starting presets

From a wide text-first quote card to a narrow floating card with an image inside.

Full control when you want it

Padding, radius, shadow, colours, line height, profile size and spacing are all adjustable — with a reset on every section.

Emoji, hashtags and mentions

Proper grapheme handling, so flags, skin tones and ZWJ sequences never break apart.

Frequently asked questions

Is Tweet Builder free?
Yes. The editor and full-resolution downloads are free, with no account and no forced watermark. Everything runs in your browser, so there are no per-export costs to pass on.
Do my images get uploaded anywhere?
No. Background photos, profile pictures and embedded media are decoded, drawn and exported entirely inside your browser. Nothing is transmitted to a server, which is also why the tool works with the network disconnected once the page has loaded.
What image sizes can I export?
Portrait 1080×1350, story 1080×1920, square 1080×1080 and landscape 1280×720, in PNG, JPG or WebP. PNG is the default because it stays sharp on text.
Will the download look exactly like the preview?
Yes. The preview and the exported file are produced by the same renderer at different sizes, rather than by screenshotting the page, so line breaks, spacing and shadows are identical.
What happens if my text is too long for the card?
The card grows first. If it still does not fit, the text is scaled down within sensible limits. If even that is not enough you get a visible warning naming how many lines are cut off, plus a suggestion to widen the card or switch preset. Text is never silently dropped.
Can I add an image or a video thumbnail inside the post?
Yes. Turn on media in the Media panel, choose an image or a still from a video, set the aspect ratio and corner radius, and optionally add a play-button overlay. Video export itself is not supported — the output is always a static image.
Does it support emoji, hashtags and mentions?
Yes. Hashtags, @mentions and links are picked out in an accent colour you control. Emoji are handled by grapheme cluster, so flags, skin-tone modifiers and multi-person sequences never break apart mid-character.
Is this affiliated with X or Twitter?
No. This tool creates original graphics inspired by the appearance of social-media posts. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. The graphics it produces are not authenticated platform screenshots.
Can I use the graphics commercially?
Yes, provided you have the rights to the images, text and identity you put into them, and you do not present the result as a genuine post by someone who did not write it. See the terms and disclaimer pages.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The editor is usable on mobile, with the canvas kept visible above the settings so you can judge the composition while adjusting it. A larger screen is easier for fine positioning.
